The SNS Flexible Protection Mesh is an engineering technical product used for slope protection and the prevention of geological disasters. 


Definition:

The SNS Flexible Protection Mesh, also known as the "Slope Flexible Protection System," is a protective system primarily composed of metal flexible meshes (such as wire rope mesh, gratings, and annular meshes). It protects against slope geological disasters such as rockfall, weathering, and spalling through two basic forms: covering and intercepting.

 

Main Features:

1. Materials: Mainly made of metal materials such as wire rope mesh, ordinary steel wire grating (wire mesh), and TECCO high-strength steel wire grating.

2. Protection Forms: Includes both active protection and passive protection.

   - Active Protection: By covering and wrapping the slope or rock surface, it limits weathering, spalling, or destruction, as well as the collapse of dangerous rocks.

   - Passive Protection: By intercepting rockfall, it controls the movement of rocks within a certain range, reducing the threat to people and property below.

3. Installation Method: Utilizes a die-cutting method, making the construction quick and simple, with a short construction period and low cost.

4. System Maintenance: Easy to maintain; when the system is overloaded and damaged, it usually only requires the replacement or repair of a few components.

Principle of Operation:

The SNS Flexible Protection Mesh transmits the locally concentrated loads uniformly to the surroundings through its flexible characteristics, thereby fully utilizing the protective capacity of the entire system. This design allows the system to withstand larger loads while reducing the anchoring force requirements for individual anchor rods.
